I hold a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. degree in Robotics.

My research focuses on developing models and algorithms for learning and decision-making in partially observable stochastic domains, and applying these results to complex problems in robotics and healthcare.

I received the B.A.Sc. degree in engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 1998, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2001 and 2004, respectively.

I am currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science of McGill University, Montreal, Canada, where I am also a member of the Centre for Intelligent Machines.
